The CRFB Brings an Interactive Workshop to Campus

A representative from the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), Zach Moller, visited from Washington, DC on Oct 23rd to host a hands-on debt simulation workshop. Econ Club students explored ways to eliminate our current debt crisis, and experimented with the CRFB’s “Debt Fixer” platform. Zach tabulated students’ results and led a discussion about the trade-offs involved with balancing the federal budget. Pizza was enjoyed by all! See Zach’s tweet and photos above.

The CRFB is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization committed to educating the public on issues with significant fiscal policy impact. For more info on the CRFB, feel free to check out their website at: www.crfb.org.
